With an early career start as a child actor, Angela featured in many familiar TV commercials as well as the BBC's Jackanory and their drama The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. This was soon followed by opening in City Sugar for the Young Vic Theatre company. For the next five years Angela played troublesome maid Iris Scott, a favourite love/hate figure of the British public, in Crossroads.
Since then Angela's other credits have included touring in Alan Ayckbourn's How the Other Half Loves playing Iris's antithesis, the mild Mary Featherstone. A variety of TV, radio, theatre and Panto have kept Angela busy with a mix of roles from the title role in Peter Pan to Mrs Manningham in Gaslight and the Wicked Queen in Snow White. Her credits also include Sailor Beware, Where the Rainbow Ends, Night Must Fall, and The Whip Hand, an improvised drama for the BBC.
